I got an A in sociology and an A in Spanish; all that remains is history, which I'm pretty sure is a B, depending on what grade I got on my final. I got full marks on my last essay, plus a comment along the lines of "I wish the assignment had been longer so I could hear more of your thoughts!" which had me agonizing. Did that mean he thought it was an awesome paper? He wanted to keep on reading it because OMG I RULE? Or did he say that because I probably should have expanded more? I went round and round on this until KC said, "Did he take any points off?" Well, no. "Then settle down, HERMIONE."

Seriously. This is what I've been like. All week. But tonight the baby went to bed early with a cold and Leah took my place at a Legion dinner (friends of ours are bringing their grandchildren), so I have the house mostly to myself; I ate Chinese take-out for dinner and about to make tea and have some chocolate and then I am watching Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver in Snow Cake and turning my brain completely off.

Except for the teeny Grangerlike part of my mind hoping that I might pull off the history A, in which case I am treating myself to something crazy.
